Europe is full of well-known large cities and small towns but why travel to the touristy well-known areas?  There are amazing small towns in Europe that you didn’t even know existed.  These small towns don’t have many tourists and include some of the best views, architecture, and other features.  If you want an out of the way place where you are not likely to run into other foreigners and truly experience Europe check out any or all of these locations.

These locations vary from big countries such as France or Greece to smaller locations like Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro.  Whether you want to hike, walk around small shops, boat, or relax and write one or more of these small towns will offer you what you are looking for.
