2. Always let somebody know where you are going to be at all times. For example, you could give your family or friends your schedule. Make sure that you keep them up to date with any changes to your schedule. They will, therefore, know if something is wrong if you have not checked in for a while. They will also know how to get in touch with you in the event of an emergency.
