4. The markets and festivals that you can experience in Vietnam are unlike anything else in the world. As you may well know, Vietnam has a long and very rich history, much of it is steeped in Buddhism. When you are staying in Vietnam, it is likely that you will be able to see these festivals play out throughout the year. It is wonderful because it enables you to see just how much the Vietnamese care for their friends and family, the fireworks at night are pretty awe-inspiring too.

    All of these reasons (and photos) are why I want to visit Vietnam. I agree that it often gets overlooked and it seems like there’s so many great landscapes and wonderful bits of culture to explore.
