3. Yes, prices in Vietnam have risen drastically in recent years. However, this is still one of the more affordable places to travel in the world, particularly for what you are getting for your money. Many of the five star hotels in Vietnam are close in price to the rather shoddy ones that you find in the United States. The food is cheap too, particularly street food. It is, also in my opinion, some of the best food that your taste buds will come into contact with.

    All of these reasons (and photos) are why I want to visit Vietnam. I agree that it often gets overlooked and it seems like there’s so many great landscapes and wonderful bits of culture to explore.
